Australia's most successful broadband device provider, Billion, will present its latest products at the CeBIT 2010 technology trade show, including an Ethernet-over-power plug with built-in WiFi networking.
As well as the recently released $199 BiPAC 6200NXL 3G router, Billion will display its latest HomePlug device, the BiPAC P106N, an Ethernet-over-powerline Starter Pack that incorporates a built-in Wireless N WiFi access point, for just $229. The BiPAC P106N offers plug-and-play simplicity by using your building’s electrical cabling for a point-to-point Ethernet link to the remotest parts of your house or premises. The P106N’s built-in Wireless N access point uses settings from your existing wireless router, providing both convenience and security. CeBIT 2010 will also mark the first time that Billion has shown its new BiPAC GS2024-4S, a 24-port Gigabit Web Smart Switch aimed at small to medium businesses. With an RRP of $499, the BiPAC GS2024-4S switch includes a four-port Mini-GBIC (gigabit interface converter), which provides small form-factor pluggable (SFP) slots for optional connections to fibre-optic services.
Billion has distinguished itself as Australia's most popular broadband router supplier by claiming top position on the router hardware chart of the Australian Broadband Survey for four years in a row, from 2006 to 2009. More details are at www.impress.com.au/abs2009. Billion’s broad range of products will be displayed on the PCRange stand at CeBIT 2010, which runs in Sydney from May 24-26.
