Digital printing specialist Printomatic has become a full service print provider with industry leader Fuji Xerox, introducing a new level of personalisation to its high-quality, on-demand printing services.

Launched in 2008 to meet the increasingly targeted printing needs of businesses, Printomatic provides wide format printing in the form of pull-up banners and posters as well as stickers and light box inserts.

Adelaide-based Printomatic, which is exhibiting on the PC Range stand at CeBIT 2010, recently purchased a $170,000 Fuji Xerox 700 Digital Color Press to extend its on-demand printing capabilities.

Printomatic manager Greg Birch said the new 700 Digital Color Press equipped the company to meet all client needs with in-house resources. “With this digital offset machine, we can now provide all general printing needs including personalised stationery, flyers, business cards, booklets, etc,” he said.

“Digital offset allows us to fulfil small or large quantity jobs, depending on customer needs, and gives us greater flexibility with critical time frames as setup times are reduced compared to traditional printing. Combined with our specialist graphic service, this allows us to make sure that all graphic needs are delivered exactly how the customer expects them to look.

“Our new offset printer also allows us to provide Variable Data printing that truly personalises products, such as flyers, so we can print each customer’s name on the same graphic or even colour-code graphics by gender or interest.”
