Audiomate AM8112Specialist technology distributor PCRange today launches Audiomate, affordable devices that deliver the freedom to enjoy music and make Skype calls as far as 30 metres away from your stereo or computer.

Manufactured by AirWave in Taiwan, Audiomate wirelessly enables headphones or headsets. Audiomate is available in two models:

  1. The Audiomate AM8112 Digital Audio Adapter (RRP $59.95) makes audio entertainment wireless, letting you hear high fidelity, stereo sound as far as 30 metres from the signal source
  2. The Audiomate AM8212 Two-Way Audio Adapter and Microphone (RRP $59.95) makes both audio entertainment and computer conversations wireless, letting you listen to music and make Skype or other VoIP calls as far as 30 metres from your computer.

PCRange CEO Raaj Menon said Audiomate delivered the freedom to enjoy music and make calls from anywhere in your home or office. “By making headsets and earphones wireless, Audiomate frees you to move around while listening to music from your computer or stereo or talking on Skype,” he said.

“As well as working with any earphones or active speakers, Audiomate provides 360-degree omnidirectional transmission and reception, which provides free roaming throughout a 30-metre radius. As well as delivering great sound fidelity, the Audiomate AM8212 is ideal for use with Skype.”

Audiomate AM8212Both Audiomate devices use 2.4GHz digital FHSS (Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology for smooth audio streaming and advanced interference resistance. They deliver high-fidelity stereo sound quality with a 20-20,000Hz audio range. Their simple plug-and-play design requires no installation.

The Audiomate AM8112 works with stereo systems, mobile devices and any audio equipment with a 3.5mm earphone jack. Plug the transmitter into the source audio device, sync it to the receiver, connect your earphones or headphones and enjoy wireless audio with crystal-clear digital sound quality.

The Audiomate AM8212 is perfect for in-home use with a PC, notebook or tablet via a USB port. Simply plug the transmitter into your PC and sync it to the receiver, then connect your earphones or headphones. The built-in omnidirectional microphone in the receiver allows the AWS8212 to function as both a headset and as headphones.

The slim, stylish Audiomate devices are designed for comfortable use and portability, with a built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery and charger for the receiver. Both work with Windows and MacOS X.

More information on Audiomate products is available at www.audiomate.com.au. Audiomate products are distributed nationally through the PCRange reseller network.
