National broadband company Internode has continued this month’s wide-ranging plan overhaul by boosting data quotas on its range of Home and SOHO ADSL FAST broadband services.
Internode’s ADSL FAST plans offer a high-speed, fixed price broadband service from $49.95 per month when bundled with a NodeLine telephone service. With a huge coverage area across Australia, Internode’s ADSL FAST plans deliver high speed ADSL/ADSL2+ performance via Australia’s largest ADSL network. Only downloads are counted in data quotas. Internode has introduced new Home ADSL FAST plans that substantially increase download quotas for a given price point: The $59.95 plan quota increases from two gigabytes (2 GB) per month to 5 GB; the $79.95 plan doubles from 15 GB to 30 GB a month; and the $89.95 plan increases from 25 GB to 40 GB.
A $10 per month bundling discount is available when the broadband service is delivered over an Internode NodeLine telephone service. Internode customers using a current ADSL FAST plan with a 50 GB quota automatically receive a $10 per month price cut, while all other current ADSL Fast customers are encouraged to change to the new quota and price points if desired. Internode SOHO ADSL FAST plans, which include the benefits of an optional static IP address and faster shaping speeds, cost $10 more than the equivalent Home plan. The existing 100 and 200 GB Home & SOHO ADSL FAST plans remain unchanged. Internode product manager Jim Kellett said the improved download quotas represented the extra value Internode delivered to its customers. “We want our customers to enjoy using their Internode broadband service, not worry about their download meter readings,” he said. “These download quota boosts are part of how we deliver on that commitment. “It’s worth noting that the only automatic plan migration occurs for customers on the Home and SOHO ADSL FAST 50 plans, who get a $10 a month price cut. We encourage other customers to review the new plans so they can choose to migrate to the plan that best suits them.” Internode is a first tier IP carrier committed to using broadband technology to redefine the national telecommunications environment. The Australian-owned company is a trailblazer that delivers broadband services to individuals and businesses throughout Australia.
