 National broadband company Internode today launches ADSL Fast, an overhaul of its broadband plans that cuts complexity, lowers costs and unveils bundling discounts with its NodeLine telephone service.
For cus Save tomers who cannot access Internode’s flagship high-performance Extreme and NakedExtreme ADSL2+ services, the ADSL Fast plan range supersedes previous ADSL Plus and ADSL TwoPlus product ranges to offer the fastest available Internode ADSL service at their location. Internode ADSL Fast plans continue to offer compelling benefits such as no excess charges if a monthly data quota is exceeded and unmetered uploads. A significant initiative is the introduction of $10 bundling discounts for customers that request a NodeLine telephone service from Internode with either the new ADSL Fast or its ADSL Standard broadband plans. NodeLine is Internode’s standard 'dial tone' telephone service which is available anywhere in the country. As part of its plan consolidation, Internode has revised its ADSL Standard plans by lowering prices and increasing data quotas on selected plans. ADSL Standard plans supersede the previous 256k, 512k and 1500k plans, and now offer 1500/256k speed as the new 'baseline' speed for all new customers. Internode’s new entry point is the HOME-Standard-5 plan, a 1.5 megabit-per-second (Mb/s) service with a five-gigabyte download quota which costs $49.95 on its own or only $39.95 when bundled with NodeLine. “Internode has eliminated 'fraudband' and now offers all new customers at least a 1.5 Mb/s ADSL service, plus options to go much faster for those who need it,” said Internode managing director Simon Hackett. “256k and 512k ADSL speeds are so '2001' – and now they're gone!”
Other key points from today’s plan table overhaul include: • Bundling discount available with NodeLine (while currently available only with ADSL Fast and ADSL Standard, NodeLine bundling will be added to the Extreme product line in the near future) • The launch of a truly unlimited ADSL Standard (1500/256) plan at $149.95 per month • Introducing 200GB Extreme and Naked Extreme plans to complement new ADSL Fast and ADSL Standard 200GB plans.
