Australian broadband company Internode has boosted data allowances for its NodeMobile Data service, which provides 3G wireless broadband access to Internode’s national network.
Internode has doubled the data quota for its $14.95 entry level plan to 500 MB per month and boosted the $39.95 plan allowance from 3 GB to 5 GB per month. Internode launched the NodeMobile Data service in April, using the Optus 3G wireless network to connect customers to its network. All existing NodeMobile Data customers will automatically benefit from the increased quota. Internode product manager Jim Kellett said the increased quotas would make NodeMobile Data even more attractive to customers. “The first month has demonstrated that the service works seamlessly, so now we’ve increased quotas to put out the welcome mat for even more customers,” he said.
