Billion BiPAC 5200SRDBillion Australia has slashed the price of two popular routers, including a 12.5 per cent reduction for the pocket-sized Billion BiPAC 5200SRD ADSL2+ router which now costs just $49.

Billion’s Australian distributor PC Range has also carved $28 from the price of the Billion BiPAC 7301VGP all-in-one VoIP (Voice over IP) router, reducing its RRP from $167 to just $139.

The compact Billion BiPAC 5200SRD is an ideal router for home and SOHO users, with rich firewall security and a user-friendly web interface to manage a high-speed ADSL Internet connection. The pocket-sized device measures 140.5mm x 90.5mm x 35mm.

Billion BiPAC 7301VGPThe Billion BiPAC 7301VGP is a true all-in-one VoIP router which lets you simultaneously enjoy the low cost and convenience of VoIP telephone calls and high-speed wireless Internet access. The unit’s RJ11 port allows you to connect an existing telephone set to make both VoIP and traditional telephone calls.

Effective immediately, these are the latest price cuts on Billion products from PC Range. Aggressive pricing made possible by the strong Australian dollar has seen Billion’s Australian sales setting new records every month since October last year.

PC Range managing director Raaj Menon said the company was committed to passing on the benefits of a strong dollar to its customers. “It’s pretty simple, the better the price, the more we sell,” he said.

“Billion has a great reputation for technical quality in Australia, so we are committed to making sure that our customers understand they are getting great value-for-money by keeping our prices keen.”

Before Christmas, Billion Australia also cut prices on two models in its high-security BiGuard router range by as much as 19 per cent. The BiGuard product range integrates SSL VPN encryption with firewall and router functions to allow management of all connections, file sharing remote access and data security.
