Billion BiPAC 3012G USB Wireless Adaptor Customer demand for low-cost, convenient wireless access has encouraged Billion to launch its BiPAC 3012G USB Wireless Adaptor in Australia, costing just $53.

"It's because we were getting a lot of demand from resellers who want it," says Raaj Menon, the managing director of Billion's exclusive Australian distributor, PC Range. "We used to sell an earlier OEM version, which we discontinued some time back. However, after Billion came out with a newer model overseas, we had a lot of people asking for the Billion device by name.

"At the end of the day, the customer is king, it's back on the shelf."

Although a lot of new notebooks have built-in wireless adaptors, many owners of older PCs and entry-level notebooks need to buy an affordable wireless network adaptor to access current networks.

The Billion BiPAC 3012G USB Wireless Adaptor provides a quick and easy to add wireless connectivity to your desktop or notebook computer. Just plug it into your computer's USB port and enjoy wireless network access for true mobility. The BiPAC 3012G complies with both the 802.11g and 802.11b WiFI standards, delivering a data transfer rate as fast as 54 megabits per second (Mbps).

The BiPAC 3012G features industrial-strength WEP and WPA2 encryption, so your wireless connectivity is protected with strong security. It also supports most Windows and Mac platforms.

Raaj Menon said the BiPAC 3012G, at just $39.95, made wireless networking truly affordable to anyone.

Full details of the Billion BiPAC 3012G can be found at http://www.billion.com.au/product/wireless/bipac3012g.php.
