Centrify, the leader in securing enterprise identities against cyberthreats, has today announced the appointment of Hemisphere Technologies as its first distributor across Australia and New Zealand.
The appointment of Hemisphere Technologies, a specialist distributor of industry-leading cyber security and business continuity solutions, marks Centrify’s adoption of a local channel-focused strategy in line with the company’s global channel model.
Centrify, which has had an Australian office since 2012, sees the partnership with Hemisphere as an opportunity to increase its visibility and reach across the A/NZ market. Trusted by more than half of the Fortune 50 companies in the US, the company boasts the iconic Snowy Hydro Limited company amongst its local customers - a sign of its experience in providing solutions for Australian critical infrastructure providers.
This year marks an important milestone for Centrify, which became the only company nominated as Leader by both Gartner, in its ‘Magic Quadrant for Identity and Access Management as a Service, Worldwide’; and Forrester Research’s latest Forrester Wave: Privileged Identity Management, Q3 2016 report.
Hemisphere sees Centrify’s identity management capabilities, including single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) – as well as its Least Privilege and Password Manager solutions - as adding great value for its channel.
Hemisphere Technologies managing director Andrew Mamonitis said Centrify helps protect organisations from the leading point of attack in data breaches ― compromised credentials. “By securing an enterprise’s apps and infrastructure for all its users, Centrify’s identity platform significantly strengthens an organisation’s security posture,” he said.
“Centrify solutions stand out in the market for their effectiveness and ease of use, a fact underscored by its status as the only IDaaS company to be listed as a Leader by both Gartner and Forrester. This bolstering of our portfolio will strengthen the breadth of technologies and solutions available to our channel.”
Centrify Country Manager ANZ Lachlan McKenzie said Hemisphere’s distribution channel would enable Centrify to deploy its solutions across more organisations and industries. “This aligns Australia and New Zealand with the successful distribution model used in Centrify’s other markets,” he said.
“We look forward to working with Hemisphere in support of its channel to win high value customer opportunities in Australia and New Zealand.”
