Internode adds Samsung Galaxy S4 to NodeMobile

Samsung Galaxy S4Internode has added the flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 handset to the range of mobile phones it launched earlier this year to complement its cost-effective NodeMobile call plans.

Starting from $10 a month, Internode’s SIM-only NodeMobile plans have proved hugely popular since they were released last year, especially with customers seeking greater value-for-money.

The 4G-ready Samsung Galaxy S4 boasts a five-inch high-definition Super AMOLED screen, a 13-megapixel camera and NAVIGON turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation.

Internode offers four other Android-powered handsets: The Samsung Galaxy Ace, the Samsung Galaxy SII, the Samsung Galaxy SIII and the Samsung Note II (available in either titanium silver or white). Internode also offers the Samsung ATIV S, which runs Microsoft Windows Phone 8.

Internode scores customer satisfaction hat trick

Internode founder Simon HackettAustralia’s top home ISP Internode today collects its latest accolade from satisfied customers by receiving the 2013 Canstar Blue Most Satisfied Customers award for Broadband ADSL services.

This is the third Canstar Blue customer satisfaction award for Internode, which received a Bundled Communication Services award last year and the Broadband ADSL award in 2010.

Today’s success comes hot on the heels of Internode receiving the Home Internet Service Provider award for 2012 at the recent Roy Morgan Research Customer Satisfaction Awards.

Internode founder Simon Hackett said the Canstar Blue and Roy Morgan awards demonstrated that Internode continued to meet its customers’ needs. “Today’s award is particularly valuable because it comes from the people we care most about at Internode - our customers,” he said.

Top ISP Internode launches NodeMobile handsets

Internode Product Manager Phil DempsterAustralia’s top home ISP Internode today provides its customers with even more choice by launching five Samsung handsets to go with its popular NodeMobile service.

Declared Home Internet Service Provider for 2012 at the recent Roy Morgan Research Customer Satisfaction Awards, Internode last year launched its SIM-only NodeMobile plans, which range in price from $10 to $60 a month, including a massive 150-gigabyte social networking allowance.

From today, Internode offers four Android-powered handsets: The Samsung Galaxy Ace, the Samsung Galaxy SII, the Samsung Galaxy SIII and the Samsung Note II (available either titanium silver or white). Internode’s fifth handset is the Samsung Ativ S, which runs Microsoft Windows Phone 8.

Handsets are available for outright purchase or on a repayment option to customers with NodeMobile.

Internode Product Manager Phil Dempster said the addition of Samsung handsets made life even easier for Internode customers. “Our NodeMobile SIM-only plans have been very popular,” he said.

Internode cooks up a storm at WOMADelaide

The Cat EmpireFor anyone who missed the wonderful WOMADelaide 2013 festival, presenting partner Internode has published 11 high-definition video recordings of headline performances as well as intimate interviews from the Taste the World tent.

Accessible via Internode's Freezone, this online treasure trove from the four-day festival includes performances from including reggae great Jimmy Cliff, Australian hip hop band The Cat Empire and the Soweto Gospel Choir.

Internode also filmed other bands including Italian band Nidi D'arac, which mashes together rural musical tradition with rock, electronica and beats, and Colombia's funky salsa orchestra LA-33
Last year, Internode pioneered livestream delivery of WOMADelaide performances, some of which remain on Internode’s website. In its second year sponsoring WOMADelaide, Internode raised its profile to become Presenting Partner for the four-day festival of world music, arts and dance, held annually in the Adelaide parklands.
