PADACS launches high-definition headset for iPhone and iPad PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Aksent High-Definition In-Ear Earphones for the iPhone and iPadAustralian technology brand PADACS has launched the Aksent High-Definition In-Ear Earphones for the iPhone and iPad, offering easily-reached controls and foam ear cushions that mould to the ear canal.

Costing $69.95, the lightweight earphones are designed for use with iPad, iPhone4, 3GS, 3G and iPod, with high quality driver units that deliver deep bass and extended treble for realistic sound.

PADACS Aksent in-ear stereo earphones are fitted with special foam ear cushions that mould to the ear canal, delivering the sound directly to your ear for an intensified listening experience. This reduces a lot of background noise, making listening easier on the ears by allowing more precise volume control.

PCRange CEO Raaj Menon said the Aksent headphones were much better than the iPhone’s standard in-ear headset. “The clarity of sound is just amazing and the bass is really powerful,” he said.

“Because it has a choice of foam ear cushions that conform to the ear, the headphones reduce a lot of background noise. The Aksent’s pause, microphone and volume controls are easy to reach which makes it ideal for listening to music and making and receiving calls with your iPhone on the move.”

With a 3.5mm stereo plug, PADACS Aksent High-Definition In-Ear Earphones come with three sets of foam ear cushions – small, medium and large – for a personalised fit. Specifications include 16 ohms impedance, 30Mw maximum power input and a frequency response range of 20-20,000Hz.

Distributed nationally by PCRange through the www.padacs.com website, PADACS offers high quality, low-cost products that allow iPhone 4 and iPad users to get even more value from their devices. Other recent PADACS releases for the iPad/iPhone include:

  • UltraCharge ($119.95), a portable power supply unit for the iPad, iPhone 4 and 98 per cent of current mobile devices.
  • Mini Bluetooth Keyboard ($69.95), a slick pocket-sized QWERTY keyboard that works with an iPad, an iPhone 4; an iPhone 3G running iOS4 and many other handsets.
  • GlareGuard for iPhone 4 ($12.95) which protects the screen and reduces glare
  • ScreenGuard for iPhone 4 ($11.95), a clear, anti-scratch screen protector.
