National broadband company Internode has won the inaugural Best ISP (Internet Service Provider) accolade from the annual League of Exceptional Service survey held by AFR Smart Investor magazine.
Announced in today’s edition, the award is based on a national survey of the magazine’s readers who are asked to nominate their preferred service providers in a range of industries. The AFR Smart Investor SMILES Awards 2009 is the first time Internet Service Providers have been included in the survey. Internode is a national broadband company with 450 employees and more than 180,000 broadband customers throughout the country. This is the latest award won by the company, following Best Broadband Operator 2007 from APC magazine and the PC Authority Best ISP Award 2006. Internode CEO Patrick Tapper welcomed the company’s success in the SMILES survey. “The most gratifying part of this award is that Internode was chosen by satisfied customers,” he said.
